The Emma features a rounded yet boxy shape with a smooth velvet outside and the traditional chesterfield tufted detail on the interior of the seat area. Regardless of the type of sitting you select, the seat cushion is one piece, and the armrests are high with a flared scrolling design and stud detailing along the front of the armrest. The characteristic wooden legs of Emma couches support them.

    Very easy to assemble. Put most of it together myself. Had to wait for daughter to come over to slide the backrest into the seat. We are short and it is nice to sit and our feet actually touch the floor.

    There's nothing I dislike about this sofa. It was reasonably priced, good quality, looks good, and it's comfortable. I like the firmness level of the cushion and how wide it is. I also purchased the Chesterfield couch in a light gray. Best buy so far this year!

    Lovely soft velvet sofa to sit and converse or read a book. It is firm and that’s ok by us. We have a big oversized sturdy recliner sofa for watching movies or napping. The fellas can sit there. I don’t know if this sofa could handle rowdy bigger kids leaping on or withstanding too much foolishness.
